FOLK & BLUES
Tim Ireland and Ian Green, known as Tim and The Captain, play Australian country folk and blues music featuring vocals, guitar, harmonica and ukulele. Approaching a decade as a duo, Tim and the Captain weave their original songs and stories with those of Tim’s ancestors, acclaimed Goldfield poets, Tam Rattray and Isa.
Tim is an accomplished guitarist and soulful vocalist who plays with passion and intensity, singing songs with heart and meaning. Captain Ian Green on harmonica and ukulele complement Tim on guitar and carries the songs with a sound reminiscent of the traditional guitar/harp blues duos.

An ‘in demand’ act with a busy schedule of their own shows as well as supporting top level artists such as Phil Manning, Lloyd Spiegel and the All Stars choir.
Tim and the Captain entertain and take the audience on a journey from the traditional to contemporary Australian music.
